 Like registration, this requirement can vary based on local laws.  Whether a MC license is required depends on the category you are registering your bike with your local DMV.  So if you register it as "motorcycle", it may need a motorcycle license to ride depending on your state.  If registered as a "moped", then the bike doesn't require the license. 

 The answer largely depends on local regulations, which can vary significantly from one state to another.  Our scooters have now been successfully registered in over 30 States.
